Any graduating senior from Marysville High School that played with MJBSA for a minimum of 1 year.
Selection Criteria
Scholarships will be awarded based on:
- Personal character and integrity
- Academic achievement (GPA)
- A short essay that highlights:
- Applicant's present goals for their continuing education and career.
- A description of the applicant’s experiences with MJBSA and how those experiences have better prepared them for life as a responsible young adult.

Application and type written essay must be completed and post marked on or before May 1. Mail the application and essay to:

Selection Process
All applications and essays will be reviewed by members of the MJBSA board and narrowed to a few select finalists. The finalists’ essays will then be review by an outside committee of three or more individuals that are not MJBSA board members to determine the winners.
Award Process
Successful applicants will be notified by phone and are expected to attend the awards ceremony at the MJBSA Jamboree that is held each year at the end of the MJBSA season. The $500 scholarship will be used to defray expenses for tuition or educational supplies at a college, university or technical school of the applicant’s choice.
