Although walk-in registrations have ended, online and mail-in registrations are still being accepted. Late fees will take effect on March 17th and will increase the registration fee for each league by $10. We plan to keep registrations open as long as possible, however we will close them for individual leagues as they fill up. When this happens, the status will be updated to "closed" on the registration page.
Our last walk-in registration session is Saturday at the library from 1-5pm. If you would like to coach and haven't yet filled out an online background check, you'll need to attend this last session to do so.
We have amended the time limit rule for these baseball leagues. It will now read as follows...
"The time limit for 8U (Midget) league, 10 (National) league, and 12U (American) league is 2 hours 15 minutes. No new inning will commence after 2 hours 15 minutes from the start of the game, which will begin when the home team takes the field to start the 1st inning. This time should be dictated by the head umpire and noted on the scorebook by the home team. The umpire will notify the coaches of the last inning if near the time limit and the visiting team is preparing to bat. Games ending in a tie will be recorded as a tie."
This rule is highlighted in red on this page for further review.
We will hold our first walk-in registration session for players and coaches this Saturday morning at 9am. Those interested in coaching will need to attend at least one session to fill out an online background check and to turn in their Coaching Application and Agreement forms.
Player registrations are open online as well. If you have questions, you can always contact us.
To those of you interested in sponsoring a MJBSA team for the 2012 season, we would appreciated it if you could read this letter.
