2011 End Of Season Information

We've nearly come to the end of another season of MJBSA sports.  We'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of those that volunteered their time to make this another successful season of baseball and softball.  We really appreciate all the time provided by coaches and parent helpers, as well as parents for getting their child(ren) to games and practices, commissioners for keeping up with score reporting, and umpires for doing a great job this year.  Also, a huge thank you to all of our sponsors!  Your support of our league helps us tremendously and keeps costs down for all are youth.  Thanks again!

Feedback: As we look forward to improving items for next season, we would like to take this opportunity to solicit feedback from all of you.  You can do so using our contact form and selecting "Provide End of Season Feedback" under "Reason for Contacting Us" drop-down menu.  When using this option, name and email address are optional.  Please let us know of anything that you would like to see improved for next year along with a possible solution if you have one, including anything you would like to mention pertaining to pitching rules, the new transitional league, things that could have been handled a little more efficiently, etc.  We always welcome positive feedback on things we did correctly as well.

Communication Options: Please take a moment and visit mjbsa.com to update your email communication options for next year (click the envelope icon on the right side of the home page).  For example, if you were a teeball parent this year, you may want to change your selections to receive transitional league news or 8U baseball/softball if your child will be returning to one of those leagues next year.  If your child will not be playing with MJBSA next year, you may want to remove yourself all together from our email list.  This also pertains to our Twitter followers. You may wish to unfollow us if you plan to not be involved with MJBSA next year, or possibly do the opposite and follow us instead if you haven't taken the plunge.

Upcoming Events:  The main event we have coming up will be our election of board members.  We don't have a definitive date for that yet, but will soon.  Once we do we'll add it to our events calendar, which will go out to all of you on our "All News and Events List".  Throughout the offseason we'll also have periodic board meetings to discuss changes and improvements for next year.  If you have ideas, by all means attend, and voice your ideas/opinions.

Equipment Return: Coaches, please make arrangements with George Scheiderer at (937) 209-7131 to turn in your equipment bag if you have not done so already.  We would like to get these returned as soon as possible.

Registration/Applications For Next Season: Online registrations/applications for players, umpires, and sponsors will more than likely open up sometime towards the end of January 2012 for next season, with walk-in registrations to follow in February.  These events will be posted to the events calendar as well once we have finalized dates towards the end of the year, and we'll send out a notice via email.  We did have to turn away a few players this season, so please register as early as possible.
