FSBA/ MJBSA Partnership

We are excited to announce that MJBSA and Fairbanks Summer Ball Association (FSBA) have entered into a 2 year competition agreement for our 8U, 10U, and 13U Softball and Baseball leagues. The goal of this agreement is to grow Baseball and Softball in Union County. We hope that we can continue to grow with our friends in Fairbanks so that we can provide a fun/competitive environment for our kids to thrive in. FSBA play all of their games in Milford Center. This is only 13 minutes away from Marysville High School. Because this is a new partnership, there will be some changes to better align our organizations. We are currently working diligently with FBSA to come up with a common set of rules for both softball and baseball. We will communicate these changes as soon as we have clarity. More changes may be made prior to the 2024 season, as we evaluate how things go in this first year. Pony Leagues, Tee ball and Transitional Leagues are currently not affected by this new partnership. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to reach out. We know change always brings uncertainty but we want to do our best to relieve any concerns. This is a first step in what we hope is a long and fruitful relationship with our Union County neighbors. Thank you for all of your continued support.
